I love the lacy look of these branches against the morning sky. They remind me of Elizabethan blackwork like this from the Manchester Art Gallery.
Which reminds me of lacy scarves like this from chemknits.
Which means it's time to stop knitting mittens and start knitting lace.
But I think I'll wait until tomorrow for the official announcement from the groundhog. Here's hoping for a cloudy morning!
